Visiting Family

As I’ve got a couple of weeks off work, I decided to come back to my home town (Formby) & visit my family before Christmas. The plan was to stay here for a few days & then go on to Luton to see my boyfriend’s Grandparents, but instead, my car decided to fail it’s MOT test, so we’re stuck in Formby for a few days more before we can take it back to be re-tested & hopefully drive home in time for our midwife appointment.

Whilst we’re here, we went to watch the Christmas lights be turned on in the village. There were so many people there, it was crazy, I’ve never seen the village so full before. Abi (my niece) went on a few of the funfair rides & I naturally asked my boyfriend to get me some candyfloss, because you have to at a funfair.

It seemed to take about 3 hours to walk home, but I think that was just because it was so cold, I almost felt like I had frostbite. If the weather stays as it is, here’s to a white Christmas….

Here’s a few photographs I took on the night of the Christmas light switch on:Christmas Lights
