Giving makes the world go round…

At the end of last year I recieved a phone call off a company called Circus Starr, a small charity who were asking local businesses (such as myself) to make a donation that would enable them to send disadvantaged children to a circus show in Llandudno, entirely free of charge.

After hearing how a small sum of £25.00 would make it possible for the charity to give an underprivileged child a day out with others of similar ages who otherwise wouldn’t be able to go was a bit of a no brainer for me, after all, it was one show…

If I think back to how many times I’ve been to the circus in my life time, it would more than likely have to be counted on two hands, so to give a child the chance to have a lovely day ‘just because’ made me think, why not?!

Today I got a letter off Circus Starr thanking me for the donation I made & along with it was a bunch of ‘thank you’ letters that have been sent to them from different places who, with these small donations, got to take some of their children to the show. It made me really happy to hear about how grateful & happy the children & families of these children were that businesses such as my own had taken the time to think about others & donate.

I think it’s safe to say, there are smiles all round!

Here’s my favorite of the thank you letters I got sent…

  1. We can all make a difference in people’s lives no matter how small it is. I am sure these kids are more than grateful for your contribution. You did an amazing act of kindness and should be very proud of yourself. Best of luck with everything 🙂
