Vanilla, Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cupcakes

I love cupcakes, especially plain vanilla ones (ooooh yum!) but I made chocolate & peanut butter flavour once & my Mr loved them, so I thought I’d share the recipe with you guys! šŸ™‚

I take the standard vanilla cupcake recipe (I love to use Mary Berry’s one – without the icing!) & then I add in a big lump (I tend not to weigh) of chocolate spread, a hazelnut one normally & a big dollop of peanut butter (again, I don’t measure how much, I go more off taste).

I normally make a big batch & do some vanilla flavour & while they’re baking, I’ll make the rest of the mix into chocolate & peanut butter flavour. Once done, like usual, I divide the mixture into the cupcake cases & bake!

The smell is gorgeous when they’re in the oven & freshly baked cupcakes leave the kitchen / house smelling delicious!!

  • 175g Butter
  • 175g Self-Raising Flour
  • 175g Caster Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 3 Eggs (large)
  • 3 Cap-Fulls Vanilla Extract

Pre-heat the oven at approx 180*C, line a cupcake tray with cases & bake for 20-25 mins
